"Oh my god, they're doing original songs." Those words Kurt whispered sent shivers down Blaine's spine. Not because he felt Kurt's warm breath on his skin, but the fact that New Directions wrote original songs for sectionals. How on earth could the Warblers win now? They were hard enough to beat before, but now, its impossible. The duet Kurt and Blaine planned to sing was good, but not good enough to win against original songs. Blaine had to think of something, and fast. The warblers were on next.

After New Directions had finished their second song, Wes stood up and faced the warblers. "Warblers emergency meeting in the green room, now." All the warblers stood up and made there way to the green room as Wes instructed. Blaine and Kurt just looked at each other before standing up and following the other Warblers.

As Blaine and Kurt walked through the door all the warblers were all talking at Wes. Some were screaming. Most of them were pacing back and forth. "We are SO not going to New York this year."

"Guys.." Wes said quietly, attempting to calm everyone down.

"We might as well not even go on stage!"

"Guys.."

"Right! We should just forfeit. No point in embarrassing ourselves."

"GUYS!" David yell, making the room grow quiet in a second. He nodded towards Wes, who gave a smile back.

"Now I know that you guys are panicking but there is no need for that."

"'No need'?" A random guy yelled from the crowd. "They sung original songs! How are we meant to beat that!"

"I know that your all worried but there is no need to yell about it. Wes is just trying to help." Kurt said as he stepped forward.

Reece (*random guy xD*) stood up onto the table so everyone could see him and said, "Kurt, you have an amazing voice and all, but it's not enough. We need something spectacular to win against New Directions."

Everyone started talking again. "Guys, I have an idea." That's all Wes needed to say to make the room grow quiet. He made his way through the crowd of panicking boys towards Blaine and Kurt. "Blaine don't you write songs?" Kurt turned towards Blaine in astonishment.

"Uh, I guess.." Blaine said quietly, not knowing how else to answer that question.

"Do you think you could-"

"Wait." Kurt interrupted Wes. "You. Write. Original. Songs?" Blaine just smiled. "About what?" Kurt asked with a curious face.

"Kurt, now's not the time." Wes interjected. "Do you have a song you could possibly perform?" Blaine thought for a moment. The warblers were waiting in anticipation for Blaine's answer.

"I guess, there is. One" Blaine stated casually.

"What do you need for it? We will do anything."

"Just a piano, I think."

"Deal! Okay everyone." Wes walked over to join David at the front of the room. "It's decided, we are replacing 'Raise your Glass' with one of Blaine's original songs." Everyone sighed in relief. They could still win this.

"Blow the candles out, looks like a solo tonight,
But I think I'll be alright!"

Blaine and Kurt stared out each other singing the last note. They were out of breath. They both turned to the audience to see that they got a standing ovation. Bowing in unison, Blaine noticed that he was in the spotlight and Kurt was not. He walked over to Kurt, pulling him into the spotlight he deserved. Kurt bowed awkwardly while looking at the crowd. Blaine then made his way over to the piano that had been wheeled out to the front of the stage. All the warblers gave him a reassuring nod. They knew that if the crowd and judges liked his song that they had a great chance at winning this. He looked at the crowd timidly before taking his spot on the stool in front of the piano. The crowd waited in anticipation to hear what he was about to sing.

"I'd like to dedicate this song to someone very special to me." Blaine looked at Kurt, who was standing next to Wes. He looked shocked. "He's been through a lot and I hope this song will help him through his struggle." Blaine looked down as he started to play the notes smoothly. He looked up as he began to sing,

"I've been alone,
Surrounded by darkness ,
I've seen how heartless
The world can be."

He looked up to see that he had the crowd's full attention. He turned to Kurt to see him humming; Blaine could tell that Kurt was stunned. Kurt was repeatedly thinking to himself, 'He wrote a song for me? He ACTUALLY wrote a song for me.' Blaine continued to sing,

"I've seen you crying ,
You felt like it's hopeless,
I'll always do my best
To make you see."

New Directions were speechless. They were giving each other glances with flabbergasted expressions. Rachel was worried, 'The warblers also wrote original songs, this is going to be a close competition.'

"Baby, you're not alone
Cause you're here with me
And nothing's ever gonna bring us down
Cause nothing can keep me from lovin' you
And you know it's true
It don't matterwhat'll come to be
Our love is all we need to make it through ."

Blaine looked at Kurt as he sang the last line of the chorus. Kurt listened to the lyrics and heard the word love, LOVE? Did Blaine just say he loved him? This was too much for Kurt to handle, first the song, now he was confessing feelings for him? Blaine looked down again to continue playing the piano.

"Now I know it ain't easy
But it ain't hard trying
Every time I see you smiling
And I feel you so close to me
And you tell me ."

Kurt remembered the first time he met Blaine. After Kurt had told Blaine about Karofsky he gave him advice. He said, you need to stand up to him, have courage. This song was perfect, Blaine was perfect. (Corney! I know!)

"Baby, you're not alone
Cause you're here with me
And nothing's ever gonna bring us down
Cause nothing can keep me from lovin' you
And you know it's true
It don't matter what'll come to be
Our love is all we need to make it through."

Kurt looked out to the crowd, searching for Mercedes face. But the only one he could see was Tina's. He gave her an embarrassed look, but she just smiled at him.

"I still have trouble
I trip and stumble
Trying to make sense of things sometimes
I look for reasons
But I don't need 'em
All I need is to look in your eyes ."

Blaine smiled to himself. He remembered that it was only yesterday that he was looking into Kurt's eyes right before kissing him.

"And I realize
Baby I'm not alone
Cause you're here with me
And nothing's ever gonna take us down
Cause nothing can keep me from lovin' you
And you know it's true
It don't matter what'll come to be
Our love is all we need to make it through, ooh ."

Blaine looked out to the crowd once more to see that he had everyone's attention. Some people were actually crying. Did he just see Puck wipe away a tear? Before he could concur that it was in fact Puck, he had to look back down at the piano to continue that last few lines of the song.

"Cause you're here with me
And nothing's ever gonna bring us down
Cause nothing, nothing, nothing can keep me from lovin' you
And you know it's true
It don't matter what'll come to be
You know our love is all we need
Our love is all we need to make it through."

As he harmonized that last lyric the crowd burst out into applause. Blaine stood up and took a bow. The warblers followed Blaine's actions and the bowed with him. After the crowd finished clapping they left the stage. They were all congratulating Blaine on an amazing job he did on that song. While the warblers were praising him, he looked around, searching for Kurt. He was nowhere to be seen. But just as he thought Kurt had left him there, he felt someone's hand grab his own and lead him to the men's bathroom. He remembered those hands from that day in the Daltons hallway; it was Kurt who was dragging him from the hand. When they finally reached the mens bathroom the taller boy let go of Blaine's hand and leaned on the counter. Kurt looked serious, Blaine immediately regretted choosing that song to sing for the competition. "Kurt-"

Kurt placed his finger in front of Blaine's lips, silencing him. "Blaine that was amazing." Kurt's blue eyes were locked onto Blaine's big brown ones. "That song was for me?"

Blaine nodded. Kurt just looked down and smiled. Blaine was watching his lips as they turned into a smile. He was so tempted right then and there to grab Kurt neck and crash his lips into his. But after the whole Karofsky's situation, he didn't want to rush Kurt. He was happy with that one kiss at Dalton they had shared a day earlier. Blaine just took a deep breath and pushed that feeling aside.

Blaine grabbed Kurt's hand and said, "Come on, we better get going if you wanna get that trophy." He flashed Kurt a smile and led him towards the bathroom door. Kurt pulled Blaine back, before he could do anything his lips were against Kurt's. Blaine immediately closed his eyes and kissed Kurt back. Kurt put his hands on Blaine's cheeks deepening the kiss. Blaine grabbed Kurt's waist and pulled him towards him, he wanted to feel Kurt's body flushed against his own. Kurt nibbled Blaine's bottom lip, begging for entry. Blaine happily obliged and allowed Kurt's tongue to enter his mouth. Blaine's mouth tasted like chocolate and coffee. Nothing like what Brittney had told him about how all mens mouths tasted like dip. They were making out in the men's bathroom. At any minute, anyone could just walk in and catch two teenage boys making out. Blaine had to end it before they were caught. He broke the kiss by taking a step away, both were breathing heavily. Kurt looked at him with a confused look.

"We should, we should probably go before someone catches us." Kurt gave Blaine the puppy eyes. "Don't give me that look." Kurt stepped forward, a pout still clear on his face. "Kurt.." Blaine was speechless. Kurt was getting closer and closer. Kurt was close enough that there lips were brushing against one another. Blaine was frozen; it was like Kurt put a spell on him. Before Blaine could give in to Kurt and close the gap, Kurt spoke.

"You're right. I want to see the faces on New Directions when we beat them." He walked around Blaine and proceeded towards the door. Blaine still frozen in the same position Kurt had left him. "You coming?" Kurt asked with a smirk on his face.
